About Lawrence Teague Jr., PhD

Bridging Knowledge and Connection

I have always believed that the heart of any successful organization is not just its strategy, but how clearly that strategy is communicated to the people who execute it. With nearly two decades of experience in writing, project management, and leadership, my career has been defined by making complex information accessible and meaningful.

My professional journey has evolved from the technical rigors of documentation to leading high-impact teams for major healthcare organizations. For over a decade, I have successfully navigated the complexities of remote and hybrid environments, leading multi-generational and multi-cultural teams both in person and virtually. At Arkansas Health & Wellness, I managed large-scale communications across five subsidiaries, focusing on everything from internal community platforms to workflow automation via SharePoint and Power Automate.

The Intersection of Leadership and Equity

In 2025, I completed my Ph.D. in Leadership for Equity and Inclusion at the University of Central Arkansas. My doctoral research focused on "knowledge-hiding" in healthcare and why information stops flowing within an organization and how social interdependence can fix it. This academic foundation directly informs my work as a leader; I don’t just send messages—I build systems that foster transparency and psychological safety.

Rooted in Community, Ready for the Future

While my professional life is driven by research and strategy, my personal life is driven by my family and my community. I am a devoted family man, married to my high school sweetheart, and a father to two daughters. For four years, I also had the privilege of serving as my nephew’s guardian—an experience that deepened my commitment to leadership through service and stability.

I am an active member of the Rotary Club, a regular volunteer at the Arkansas Food Bank, and a former President of the Silver Springs POA. My family and I are also active members of the First United Methodist Church.

While I am deeply involved in my local community and schools, my family and I share a passion for travel and exploring new perspectives. I am currently actively seeking relocation opportunities that will allow me to expand my professional horizons while providing my family with new experiences in a different part of the country.
